Rates & Terms

Prices quoted are estimates.

Clients should obtain a specific quotation for the whole project before work begins.

Quotations will be supplied once work has been sighted.

$12/1000 for 20,000 words or more.

Costs associated with postage, courier and printing are not charged to the client.

Work additional to original project will be charged at the appropriate rate.

In accordance with guidelines from the Deans & Directors of Graduate Studies and the Institute of Professional Editors (IPEd), editing work carried out for students from Australian universities will be made to hard copy only.

Academic Editing endeavours to undertake quality editing work; however, editors are only human and therefore zero typographical errors can never be guaranteed. Academic Editing undertakes to correct these minor errors at no cost to the client.

Maintaining an agreed realistic timeframe will always help to prevent such errors.

Editing and proofreading at short notice will incur a higher rate.
